This game is a no supplies needed style game that you can play while hanging out before group or even afterwards as rides are on their way. Get everyone in a circle and have each player name a ninja move along with display the motions for that move. This is their identity in the game. The game starts with a player calling out their move and displaying it’s technique. They then call out someone else’s move and motion from the circle to pass the turn on to them. That person receives their turn by saying the move and performing the motion of the person who just called them out and then calling out another person’s move and displaying the technique to pass it to them. A ninja who fumbles through the motion or who call the wrong attack is out. Continue until their is one winner.

This game is super hard to explain but luckily there is a video you can watch of it being played below. A few suggestions. Nobody can pass their turn back to the person who just gave it to them. Make sure everyone knows to pay attention to their friends in the beginning as they call out their move and show the motion.

Thank you for this post. We tried this for the first time tonight at Youth Service, was a huge hit! Even our Youth Leaders had a blast. It took us a while to get going and we are not as fast or as expressive as this group. I posted this video to our groups Facebook page so they can get a better idea of how to play. Worth the play again.

OMG! I just love this! I’m learning this with my husband now – me do teach to my Girl Guides and my husband to teach his work colleagues to teach to their youth groups at work! Determined to spread this around the UK!
    Thanks very much! x
