THE HUNGER GAMES ACTIVITY
Categories: Events, Volunteer Games
Luke Lang at Grace Covenant submitted a series of games that involve the theme of “The Hunger Games” book and movie. Luke did a fantastic job thinking creatively. This would make a great theme night or you could spread them across four weeks with some skit characters leading the individual games.
The Stash created the graphics. You can use the one above as a template for more games. The font is Bank Gothic. Here are the instructions for each game from Luke. Enjoy.
“CINNA”mon toast crunch eating contest: give 6 students a small package box of cinnamon toast crunch…see who can eat it the fastest.
“GIRL ON FIRE”: a contest between 3 girls to see who can eat a bag of flaming hot Cheetos the fastest.
“PEETA” flip: two students put swim flippers on theier feet, they put a piece of pita bread on the flipper and flip it up in the air and, without using their hands, try to catch it with their face.
THIS MEANS WARHEAD : get a couple of volunteers, see how many sour warheads they can put in their mouth without making a face.

Brilliant…love the stash…
Wow! Love these games! Thanks so much for sharing!
Great ideas! Love it! We then did a “mockingjay” and had a student feed another sour worms against another team to see who could eat the most!
Great stuff!
Love these! Last night I did the “Girl on Fire” one, but changed it up a bit. We didn’t do just girls so we tweaked the title and had for students come up: two guys and two girls.
