Matt Sanders of Reverb Youth sent in a game to share with all of you. This is a great Thanksgiving game. Don’t forget that we have other Thanksgiving games that I listed form the Stash in this post update. Here are the directions straight from Matt. Enjoy.

1 pack of slice Turkey lunch meat (Costco or Sam’s Club size) per team
3 buckets per team

Break your group into as many teams as you’d like into whatever size you want. I’d think anything over 10 people would be too big. Each team lines up in front of their buckets. The buckets are in a line, one behind the other, with a couple of feet in between them. The first person takes the pack of turkey, grabs one slice, and then tosses it like a frisbee towards their buckets. If it lands in the bucket closest to them it’s worth 10 points, the middle bucket is worth 20 points, and the furthest bucket is work 50 points. The team with the most total points at the end of the time limit or after they run out of turkey wins.

Looks like a great game! Lower cost version would be with bologna… you know the 25cent a pound stuff. Might check the spelling on Turkey for the title of the article.
