This is an intensive setup game. For each contestant you need a pair of scuba flippers, a sturdy plastic not paper style plate, and string or tape.

Make a hat from your plate and twine that will be place on the participants head like a helmet. The plat will be flat on their head making a platform. Be sure it is secured with the string. Punch two holes in the plate to run the string thru and around their chin to be tied off.

Have them put the scuba flippers on. The object of the game is to kick a tortilla in the air off of the scuba flipper and catch it on the plate with no hands. If they miss they pick the tortilla up and put it back on the flipper and keep trying until someone has a successful catch with their plastic plate helmet.

I saw this game at a camp in Oklahoma. It’s fun to watch.

We played this one a few weeks ago, just without the plastic helmets … the middle school students loved it! And it was a lot of fun to watch!
