Have the students get in groups of two. Partners will compete against each other. To play the kids will place their hands behind their back. Leader counts to three and on three the kids will swing their hands out from their backs with a certain number of fingers displayed on each hand. A clinched fist is zero. It’s up to them how many to display. Players must display their fingers on three they can’t cheat and wait for their opponent to swing their hands out first. Players must keep their hands still and can not change the number of fingers they have decided during the count to display before their partner. The object of the game is to add the number of fingers your opponent is displaying with the number of fingers you’re displaying. The first person to say the correct total first is the winner. A couple of hints to tell the kids. Don’t yank your hands away when you call a number out or hear your opponent call a number out. Keep them still because one of you could be wrong. Numbers will range from 0-20 there can’t be more than 20. When a player wins they find another winner and repeat until there is only one player left .
This game is a blast it sounds complicated but it is not.
