ANNOUNCEMENTS UNDER PRESSURE

Announcements can be that part of your program that lacks creativity.  Well, no longer.  Bring a student up to the front for EACH announcement you have.  One at a time, you will flash the announcement up on the screen with added words, misspellings, font changes, or whatever other curve balls you want to add.  If a student says um, pauses, or messes up they are ‘rewarded’ in front of everyone.  You can pie them, spray them with something, or give them an unwanted tattoo.  To make this even better, play ‘Under Pressure’ by Queen lightly in the background during announcements.  This works as an ongoing sketch involving different students each week.
