Divide your room in half either by arranging your chairs in two equal sections or with masking tape. Place half of your group on one side or section and the other half on the opposite side or section. During the game a section of your choosing represents any number 1-20 that starts with the letter s or t. The other side represents any number 1-20 that does not start with the letter s or t. The game is simple. When you call out a number (1-20) the side that represents that number must stand up while the other side sits down. If anyone stands up or sits down for the side on the wrong number they are out. If you need to eliminate more students because you have a large group, make anyone who flinches up or down out. You can use hand gestures and voice inflection to make the game fun and get more people out. The side that has all their players eliminated first is out. Students will have to listen and act fast but not at the wrong number to stay in the game. It’s a lot of fun.
